We provide comprehensive care and support to the following clients:

  • Preschool children
  • Pupils with learning difficulties (e.g. specific learning disabilities)
  • Pupils at the end of compulsory schooling – advice on career choice or further studies
  • High school pupils (including school-leaving examination - called Maturita)
  • Children and pupils with behavioural disorders
  • Children, pupils, and students who are gifted or highly gifted
  • Children, pupils and students with mild health impairment
  • Children, pupils and students from culturally different backgrounds (e.g. people with insufficient knowledge of the Czech language…)
  • Children, pupils and students with different living conditions
  • Class groups within the primary and secondary prevention of social pathological phenomena

We also provide care and support for the pedagogical staff of schools and school based facilities.

We provide the following psychological and special pedagogical services to children from the age of three (support educational organisations and parents):

  • assessment of the child's developmental stage
  • assessment of laterality (“right-handedness” or “left-handedness”), assessment of school readiness (including the completion of professional documents - recommendation that might defer the start of school attendance, recommendation of possible placement in a specialised school based on the child's individual needs)
  • support with adaptation problems in kindergarten
  • support with emotional and educational problems in the family and in the kindergarten
  • assistance with the development of certain abilities and skills needed for learning (such as graphomotor skills, numerical abilities and skills, auditory and visual perception, visuomotor skills, spatial orientation, problems with speech and language - except for speech therapy…) - in the form of individual care (specialised pedagogical stimulation) or group care (educational stimulation groups for preschoolers)

We offer support and assistance to pupils of both younger and older school age (and their parents) with coping with various difficulties connected with education and upbringing:

  • dealing with learning difficulties (based on the uneven development of intellectual abilities, specific learning difficulties, specific behavioural disorders, personality peculiarities and other possible differences in the child development)
  • coping with educational difficulties (based on behavioural disorders or related to a current or long-term difficult or unusual situation in the family)
  • choosing further educational path (career counselling before the end of secondary school or college, assessment of individual choices for studying at a multi-year grammar school, consideration of the suitability of the type of study, or possible transfer to another, more suitable school or class).
